They committed themselves to make the first completely leak-proof stainless steel lunch box, which had never been done. Although stainless steel lunch boxes have been around for a while, they have never truly been leak-proof, simply because it is difficult to achieve. They faced a significant (yet thrilling) challenge because they wanted to maintain a simple, elegant design with valuable features. An engineered steel box with specially designed radiuses on the corners for a softer ergonomic appeal is what they finally produced after many iterations.
