About Ancient Wisdom:

In the beginning, Sheffield and Derbyshire were the locations of the small chain of gift shops known as Ancient Wisdom. A variety of unique aromatherapy products were created in response to consumer demand. The success of these goods, including Sleep Stones, led to requests for supplies from other retailers. Wholesale sales to the independent gift trade were soon seen as lucrative. The key to their success has been and continues to be this emphasis on customer lead demand.

The idea of aromatherapy has evolved to encompass various gift items, such as candles, crystals, and incense. They now carry nearly 10,000 product lines imported from China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and other countries to supply the European gift industry.

Operating out of Sheffield’s Affinity Park, a 100,000-square-foot distribution facility, they constantly expand our product lines to meet your gift-related needs.

Why the name?

Well, everything took place about 6000 years ago… Folklore, increasingly supported by archaeology, tells us that even in so-called prehistoric times, humanity was far from primitive. By no means has the advancement of civilizations and knowledge been on an upward trend. Stonehenge and the Pyramids are significant examples of how an ancient culture could be superior to its offspring.

Undoubtedly, the ancients were more knowledgeable than we are today in aromatherapy and the enigmatic properties of plants and trees. However, academics and theologians disagree sharply about the origin of this ancient wisdom. Was it divine, from the Nephilim (a fictitious race of sons of God), or from aliens before the flood?

The truth is that great wisdom was discovered and lost in a relatively short time, probably around 6000 years ago.
